The long-standing company Kettenbach GmbH & Co. KG, which has been making a name for itself with inventions and product innovations in medicine for decades, is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. The internationally oriented family-run company headquartered in Eschenburg, Germany develops, produces, and distributes dental medical devices for the highest requirements in impressions, restorations, and now also in prophylaxis.

As prophylaxis has gained importance in dental practices, dental fluoridation is an approach everyone is now talking about. That makes it a real boon when new products in this segment are devised to meet the needs of both users – like den-tists and dental assistants – as well as patients. Kettenbach Dental is proud to present such an innovative product with impressive advantages for dentists and patients: Profisil Fluoride Varnish featuring an anti-allergenic formula without alcohol and without rosin for use as a gel-based fluoride varnish – typically after professional tooth cleaning and for hypersensitive teeth.

Having been on the market for some time, the composite product line Visalys from Kettenbach Dental is steadily growing. The medium-sized company has created a high-quality foundation in the process: Three products from the Visalys portfolio of composite materials were recently awarded by the leading research publication The Dental Advisor from the US: Visalys Temp, Visalys Core, and Visalys CemCore — and not for the first time.

Futar, Panasil, and Silginat are products that have long been known in the dental sector as premium impression materials from Kettenbach Dental. The jurors from the leading research publication The Dental Advisor are also impressed by the user-oriented properties, awarding all three products at the start of the year. And something special: the bite registration material Futar Fast was awarded for the twelfth time in a row, for which it received a special accolade.

Kettenbach Dental is expanding its composites division of Visalys^® products. What started with a single material over a decade ago expanded to 5 unique restorative solutions for core build-ups, cementing, temporary restorations and, recently started, nano-hybrid composites for direct filling therapy: Visalys^® Fill and Visalys^® Flow have been officially available in dental trade since this spring.
